We are pleased to be able to offer a range of hand crafted turned wooden beer tankards by David Colsell of West Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

Each tankard is unique according to the characteristics of the piece of wood David uses. As with all items made from wood each tankard has its own unique look according to the colour and grain of the wood. David sources the finest English Ash and turns each wooden tankard to best highlight the grain and colour of this beautiful natural material.

The pictures show the actual tankards, as you will see no two are the same. Each tankard measures approximately 6 inches tall.

These tankards hold approximately one pint and are the perfect present for the man who thought he had everything!

Each wooden tankard is supplied with an after care kit comprising of a small tub of natural dubbin to keep the interior waterproof and care instructions.

Please be aware of the following:

• The tankards are for cold drinks only - preferably English real ale!
• They should not be immersed in water, a simple rinse with warm water will suffice and dry with a tea towel.
• As with all fine items of tableware - never put your tankard into the dishwasher!
• Use the dubbin supplied to keep the wood waterproof.
• The depth of colour and character of the tankard improves with age and regular application of dubbin.
